I used this twice and it was trash time. The batteries that come with this are junk and leaked all over the insides creating a non-useable piece of plastic garbage. Perhaps if i had changed the batteries on day one the thing would still work. I was happy with it when it worked but when I needed it in a pinch? Zippo. Thank God I keep a backup handy.

Comments:
I purchased 2 Flare taillights, one for a friend, a month ago. The Flare comes with multiple mounting options; I chose the clip for my seat bag and the quick detach seat post mount for the second. The lights were visible from a good distance and remained securely attached. After racking the bikes for the evening, the Flare detached in seconds, allowing it to be stowed inside the car during dinner. I'm new to evening riding and the Flare does everything I need. If it holds up under extended use I'll consider it an exceptional value and a great choice for those looking to extend their riding time past sundown.
